The Eatwell Guide is a visual representation of how different foods and beverages can contribute to a healthy, balanced diet. It is a policy tool that helps set government recommendations for healthy eating  and  a balanced diet.     The Eatwell Guide divides the foods and drinks we eat into five main groups:     fruits and vegetables   grains (including bread, pasta, rice and cereals)   protein foods (including meat, fish, eggs, beans and legumes) )   Dairy Products   Oils and Spreads   The Eatwell Guide shows how much of what we normally eat  should come from each food group in order to achieve a healthy, balanced diet.
